I'm cutting whole store milk with honeyvilles dairy alternative and its just as good as reg. milk....1/2 store 1/2 powder

dissolves well....I bought a case of #10 cans on sale and it worked out to 1.80$ per gallon

 

I think it's better than the other I have stored. We raised our kids on powdered milk and wished we'd have had this to use rather than the Aldi's brand.

 

I have some Emergency Essentials milk, too. I use it in baking all the time. The kids don't like drinking it as much as real milk, but in an emergency they would adapt. When I lived overseas as a child, we could only get powdered milk, and after a month or so I couldn't tell the difference. We actually had to adjust to real milk when we moved back to the states.

There's another brand that tastes really good and is less expensive than EE - it's called Nido. It's a Mexican brand available at Walmart and some grocery stores. Try some of that before you buy the big superpails from EE.
