Can anyone recommend a paste electrolyte solution.

I've been buying the packets but the mix volume is for a much larger operation than we have and we don't get it all used before it's recommended to replace it.

I'm thinking paste in tubes - while more expensive per unit - would be more cost effective for us.

I have no idea about paste, but am curious as well. I have always used Pedialyte and (in a pinch) Gatorade. I do wonder if there is a more optimum electrolyte mix for cattle vs people...?

I have made one with gatorade that worked well.

My issue with most electrolyte solutions (aside from the volume issue mentioned above) is that unless a calf is taking a bottle I have to drench it and I HATE drenching. I'm always worried I'm going to drown the animal.
