electric moter repair

    has any one found a book or web site detailing how to diagnose and fix electric moters? we have a good fixer right now but he is getting old and will soon retire. don't see me doing the same for awhile so thought i had better find out how to fix them!

    You might try Lindsay's Technical Books, seem to have everything. shadowwalker

    http://www.lindsaybks.com/ has books on rewinding, building from scratch, the ins and outs of all sorts of electric motor information at reasonable affordable prices from the late 1800's to the early to mid 1900's reprints mostly of some books so hard to find information of that once you get their catalog coming, a person has to take a second job just to have enough change to buy the books for experimenting... and to have the stuff to tinker with!!!!!

    They are reliable folks they have ben in business for alot of years, and have a steady return of loyal cusomers.... ok i am one of them and they did not pay me for the endorsement!!!
