I'm getting a dozen eggs a day right now and have been feeding the extra eggs to the pigs. They seem to love them but I was wondering if this will be a problem for the pigs in the long run?

I'm not aware of any problems. They'll have shiny coats :)

Next to milk, eggs are the most nutritionally complete food source occuring on earth. The nutrients are easily digested and assimilated by omnivorous and carnivourous mammals as well as avian species.

Side note: Make sure you feed enough eggs for all the pigs to get some 'cause they'll fight like crazy to get them.

I'd like to know if anybody had run into ulcers from too much protien. I believe I read about this somewhere.

A pig can get ulcers from too much protien. How much an egg has, not sure. I know we have fed ours eggs before without problems. If they have an ulcer, they will vomit after eating. I guess if that happens, then you would stop.

Looking at what's printed on my egg carton, 1 extra-large chicken egg has 7g of protein (or 15% of the DV for humans).

We feed oodles of eggs to our pigs. Duck, chicken, goose & turkey eggs. We just lay the eggs on the ground and they crunch the shell and slurp up the raw egg.
