Know many of you are expert cake decorators. However, I'm not. So, read, to take a piece of twine or other heavy thread, dip in red food coloring and drag into lines in frosting. Take another piece and dip into green food coloring and drag the other way. Of course, any color can be used. Thought this would be good for holiday use.

Also, I saw someone do this when they were slicing up a beautifully decorated sheet cake. They used fishing line. (new roll, only used for cake slicing :) ) A piece long enough, held to extend out from the ends of the cake, hold it tight, push it down and pull one end out. Repeat. Perfectly sliced, every time.
