A friend of mine is thinking about selling a Jersey hiefer who just had her first calf. She is from stock he bought at a sale, selling dairy stock from Canada.
She is gentle and can be hand milked. If he decides to sell, I think he'll be advertising in the NC Agricultural Review. I just thought I'd see if anyone here might be interested before he advertised her. She's pretty, dark. He's thinking of asking around $1,000.

    Eastern NC, near Greenville.

I don't think he'll have a problem selling her. When I got Norma, I was the first one who called, so the owner was nice enough to give me first dibbs, even though I couldn't get down to look at her for another day. I drove 2-2 1/2 hours to get her. The owner said she could have sold 20, she had so many phone calls.

Just thought I'd throw it out there to see if any of you might be interested.

    no, she's not registered

He purchased the mom as a day old heifer from the sale
she could have been registered, but he didn't

if he does decide to sell her, I'll get him to write a history
I'll see if i can take some pics and get them posted

Hey, I noticed you were close
saw your sheep and small puppies :)

a friend of mine has a 6 month old GP female from Georgia
do you do any stud service?
    Kayla's so cute
but, I sure would like to have a grazer guard instead of something as big as a horse to feed dog food :)

    do you spin?
