I just read the United States Geological Survey site that had the data for if the icecaps melted. They said the oceans would rise 50 meters. Does anyone know where I can get a map that has this information? Thanks
Look at any topo map and take sea level plus 50m to detremine if any areas connected to or adjacent to the ocean would be flooded. You can use the maptech website to check the areas you're interested in.
I don't know if you'll find maps, but I did a google search on "ice caps melt maps". I found a few articles with a map of Florida, and another showing north pole. The sites seem to be NOAA.gov, Discovery.com; and National Geographic magazine. Good luck on your search. I know I've seen a program about this at some point. Angie
. Sorry, no map. But there's lots of research that's showing entire countries may wind up under water.... http://minifarmhome.proboards25.com/index.cgi?board=this&action=display&num=1106011465 .
