Just got my catalog from Burgess Seed and Plant CO. I am considering ordering their "Postage Stamp" Orchard.
1 Dwarf Yellow Apple, 1 Dwarf Red Delicious, 1 Dwarf Elberta Peach, 1 Dwarf Kieffer PEar, 1 Dwarf North Star Cherry, 1 Dwarf Nectarine.

I've neevr had an orchard before - any suggestions? Are these good combinations? Should I do something different?

I am in Indiana. They claim that no extra pollination is needed, and that you can plant this in a 10 x 20 foot area. I have about a 30 x 50 ft available for the orchard.

Any suggestions for a beginner???? Thanks!

I would pick another company to do business with.

I've heard very bad things about this company. I think if you go to the gardening forum, there is a review of seed companies, but you may have to do a bit of a search for it.
