I have A LOT to learn!!! So here's my first of probably a whole series of dumb questions: Is there a difference between pot bellied pigs & miniature pot bellied pigs? I mean, are they just sometimes referred to as miniature because of their size relative to farm hogs, or are there really different sizes within the pot belly breed?

Through selective breeding for a smaller "pet" pig there are lines with mini-type..others have kept the original size to have a smaller than regular hog,but large enough to butcher...making an easy to handle food source..Mine are 50-100 lbs. but I've been given obese 150-200 lb. potbellied pigs...So much depends on your intended use of them..
