Good Morning. There are folks on youtube supplying their own food on 1/4 and 1/2 acres easily.
Even apartment gardening can be very productive.

You might check out Weedem and reap on U Tubes. There on an acre in Ariz. They have fish, chickens, sows with pigs, and around a 1/2 to a doz goats depending on time of year, along with chickens and a turkey or two, plus a garden and orchard.
