Why are they trying to and succeeding in passing laws on drag?

Do they believe that one sex dressing in the clothes of another sex is obscene?
Do they believe that only one sex should wear makeup?
Do they believe that dressing up as the opposite sex will make you gay?

Would you be against a story hour if the reader dressed like a chipmunk? Why is that different than one sex dressing as another sex?

Can you quote one of these proposed laws?

I’ve not seen anything discussing banning drag shows writ-large. Everything I’ve seen has been in the context of banning drag shows that are aimed at an audience of children. That makes the first four of your questions non-sequiturs.

In direct answer to your last two questions:

1- No. I wouldn’t see an issue with a story hour hosted by a reader dressed like a chipmunk. That seems perfectly reasonable and kind of fun for a children’s story hour.

2- We’re not simply talking about a male dressed as a female. We’re talking about drag. Drag is a highly flamboyant sexual expression. It entails men dressing in hyper-sexualized caricature of women, showing gigantic fake cleavage, revealing clothing styled after strippers and prostitutes, waving obscene sex toys around, and encouraging children to put money into the clothing of provocatively dancing degenerates. I’ve not seen anything about preventing so-called “trans genders” from reading to children (though I would wholeheartedly support their being prevented from ANY access to children).

So, in turn, my own questions, if you would:

1- from which media outlet did you get these wildly failing and illogical “gotcha” questions, this morning?

2- why does your side always insist on injecting sexuality into the lives of young children?
2a- do they/you have no shame?

Is this highly sexualized? Is this what you think should be outlawed? Do you believe Ru-Pauls drag show should be outlawed?

There were three questions there:

1- yes. That is hyper sexualized. That is not a man in women’s clothing. That is a man dressed as a sexual caricature of a woman. Letting him within touching distance of a child should be a crime.

2- see #1

3- I looked that up and see that it’s a television show. No. I don’t believe a television show should be outlawed.

See what intellectual honesty looks like?
Here were my questions again:

2- why does your side always insist on injecting sexuality into the lives of young children?
2a- do they/you have no shame?

It seems to me that pageants are highly sexualized. Why are they not outlawed in public?
Some pageants are highly sexualized. None, that I am aware of, are highly sexualized and specifically aimed at children like the ones your tribe are using to groom children into early and deviant sexuality.

That picture of a man pretending to be something he isn't engaging with an innocent child turns my stomach. Children should not be exposed to something that has no purpose but to flagrantly push deviant sexuality.
And shame on that child's parents for failing to shield her and protect her from such garbage.
If grown ups want to waste time with drag shows, prostitutes, sex clubs, gender-bending or whatever sad perversion of what should be a gift of love between a man and a woman, then that's up to them. They can make their own decisions.
But none of that from any perspective has ANY place in a school or library or playground or cartoon story or any place where children may be. Children need to be protected, nurtured, and given the freedom to be an innocent child. Not used as pawns in a disgusting influencer game. There is a sure and certain punishment in store for those who corrupt children and lead them astray.

This thread reminds me of this question...

Regarding this thread...

Hmmm...
I was going to say that myself. I however did not post a highly sexualized photo. I don't believe that mas is highly sexualized. He is no different than a cartoon character.

I also don't believe that a man in drag is always highly sexualized though some are. We don't outlaw those videos or outlaw men in speedos or women in sheet tops.

So what bothers you is the fact that one sex is dressed as another?

It's a scary, abnormal looking man dressed in clownish attire designed to make a public mockery of women. Drag performers hate women, making a public mockery of women is the sole purpose of all drag and has been so for the past 4 or 5 hundred years. Research the history and the reasons for how drag got started as a form of persecution against women by men who hate and are afraid of women. Even the name fits - drag - to drag women down.

I don't want individuals like that around me and my family and I don't want my young grands and greatgrands to have to be confronted with his bizarre mental illness. No children should grow up thinking that it's okay for men to make a blatant public mockery of all women and to inspire youngsters to hate and fear women.

What I believe will happen and what I want to happen are different. I WANT Ru Paul's drag show discontinued. I want all mentally ill individuals like him who are afflicted with the drag illness to be kept away from the public, particularly children.

I believe that pageants are aimed at children. They start them early and they dress them up as women. They groom them to want to look more feminine and yes hypersexualized. They are not outlawed.

I can understand that is your view.

Do you believe that there should be laws passed and people's choices to be taken away if they don't agree with that view?

With regard to drag, yes. And I think men who suffer from that deviant illness should be kept separate from women and children and should be getting mental health therapy and education about their illness. But that's just me.
