Ok heres the deal my dogs have worms and I need to worm them but the chickens eat the dogs poo, will it harm/kill my chickens if I worm the dogs?

Crashy, my best guess from about 7 years of experience is no. I've always dewormed my dogs, goats, cows, and horses; the chickens and ducks (and dogs) eat it all up like ice cream at times.... no adverse effects from the labeled dosages given... ever.

I've learned to live with the grosser characteristics my beloved dogs exhibit :) there may be some of my initial grossed out posts in the archives here :) I use Cydectin on the cows as a pour on and as a drench for the goats. I also use Ivermectin (brand name) on the cows, goats, dogs, and horses. Fenbendazole is one I use now and again for tapes. If you are unsure, Sarah will be back from vacation in a week or so and she is defintiely able to give more authoritative advice on these matters than me.

i never wormed my dogs for years--until i got the poultry and my other animals--and the dogs ate their poo. i have everything locked up and the dogs dont get at it anymore and they dont seem to need to be wormed so much.
