In NC we have the "Agricultural Review". It is the greatest publication for farmers, hobby homesteaters and any one interested in farm related items/information... It's online and also comes in paper form every month.. It has "for sale and want ads" for equipment, animals, poultry, land, seeds, plants and honeybees and related items.

I thought it might be nice if we all listed your 'local/state' "Agricultural Review" so that others in our own State or States that are close by could find items that we may want/need.

    Thanks Debbie

Florida Market Bullitin is our version, adds to sell, items wanted, machinery, livestock, all in their own catagories. Plus there is a write up on some obscure offical each month and another on Florida products. Online or via mail.

No such thing here in KY! I miss the Ag Review since we left Wilmington, they won't mail it out of state. I know it's online but I miss sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee reading through it. We found both of our border collies in it.

Such a beautiful website! I'm envious, ours is horrible!

    www.vdacs.state.va.us

Trying to find information on our site is like trying to pull teeth from chicken! I suppose the biggest problem is that I had HIGH expectations of them when I moved up here.

WV has a market Bulletin. FREE
You could always find stuff when I lived in WV.
FL had UCF and you could ask for anything and everything and they were full of information.

VA is almost dead in the water. They have focused on tobacco for so many years they haven't figured out that they need to catch up yet. Well, some of the younger ones have figured it out but most of the older ones who are in charge of everything don't think there is a need to grow or change. :waa: :waa: :waa:
