My farm website is down... well more like a complete mess and I don't have time to work on it right now... something I hope I can do when the weather turns cold...

We have one but I have not had a chance to do anything much with it, right now all you can get to is the fall signup sheet for our CSA.

I don't,but I've thought of making a blog. Just to record my progress...if you can call it progress. LOL...that's subjective.

I love reading about other people's homesteads.

For those home web builders, I suggest you check out www.e107.org e107 is a free content management system. It's very nice and pretty easy to use. You just need basics like creating MySql tables etc., but as long as you know your password for your MySql it will even create the tables for you. It allows members to join your website, have a forum, PM's and all that. Along with upload/download capabilities, you can even assign user classes, so if someone was a member of the CSA, they could access special portions of your site that others couldn't see. It's called value added content. You can upload plugins like recipe plugins etc. Lot's of cool stuff and the program is all free.

Blogs are so easy to learn with www.blogger.com that I think you should. You could have a basic one started in 20 minutes.

No website, just a blog and we're just now getting started so there's not a lot to see.

Not updated as often as it should be, but mine is:

Boxes on the left side of each page lead to our woodworking website and to my blog.
