I have a friend that uses limewire. Anything good about it? Anything bad about it? Thanks.

I've tried it but I don't care for it. Too hectic. I prefer Ares Galaxy.

I've been using it for years, never a problem. Not sure what Nevada meant by hectic, so I'm curious and am going to check out Ares too.

Just beware the lawsuit happy MPAA and their henchmen. Limewire and its ilk are primarily used to download copyrighted material and the MPAA dont care whom they stick lawsuits on (they even tried to sue dead people...)..
I prefer BitTorrent. Loads of great PDF's and books out there. A.T.Hagan has one of his prep PDF's posted by someone. Like MadAussie said, just be careful and know what you are getting into. Also some Torrent search sites have a decidedly Not Safe for Work Advertising Base.

I use BitTorrent to get my torrent files. Ares can get torrents, but there seems to be a lot of overhead when Ares downloads torrents. But I still like Ares best for mp3 downloads. BitTorrent and Ares coexist in the same machine just fine.
