I love Saanens and Love Nigerian Dwarf's.
I'm seriously wanting to breed a white Nigerian buck to
a Saanen doe (If he can reach LOL)
Was wondering if anyone out here has done this before?
I have heard and seen min LaMancha's and Mini Nubians,
    but nothing with Mini Saanens.

I just bought our first goat she looks like a saanen but is suppose to be a pygmy! She's too tall to be a pure Pygmy but is sweet and healthy.
She is pregnant with her 2nd freshening and we're so anxious for her to kid its funny.
    Good luck

Don't ever underestimate what those little bucks can do! I had a pygmy buck who got loose and "nailed" everybody......Saanens, the Nubian, the Toggenburg.......

And, I ended up with some lovely crosses. The Saanen gene seems to be dominant because everythiing that I ended up with that was half or even quarter Saanen was white.

The half and half (Saanen/Pygmy) were well received when I went to sell them. Not as tiny and barrel-bodied as the pygmy but with the wonderful personalities of the Saanen. Bottle-raised them and sold them as pets. Everyone loved them!

White is a dominant gene... I have a line of Nigerians that I'd LOVE to see anything but white in. XD It's my least favorite color. LOL

I often wondered why a lot of ND people don't like white.
I have heard it's cause they're hard to keep clean
With white faults are more easily seen
and one I can understand, in the south, with that pink skin they are
    more prone to skin cancers.

But truthfully I love white ND's. But then again, I like most
    all colors except chocolates.
