I live in South Florida and I am interested in keeping rabbits for meat. Has anyone kept rabbits for meat outside? what kind of setup do you have?

I'm in North Fl. My rabbits are outside under a tree, in a hoop house, in suspended cages. Not so much problem with cold as with heat.

thanks for the reply, mama. i want to set up a colony type rabittry. i have a fenced pen where i have a chicken coop on one corner and i want to enclose the other corner for the rabittry. the birds and rabbits would be separate by wire fence. i am digging a trench all around and putting concrete and wire so nothing can dig in/out. i think that letting the rabbits be on the dirt will help with the florida summers since they can dig burrows. what do you think. i would also provide shelters. also, could you post pics of your set up? thank you for any advice. i am new but i'm trying to do research to prep. :baby04: :baby04: :baby04:
