I was wondering if some of us have trouble trusting people?

I don't have a problem trusting some people, and other people..I don't really trust at all. I guess I'm a fence-sitter in this subject also.

Yes. There are only a handful of people that I would trust without question.

I used to have a saying posted to my wall:

    "Trust Everybody
But make sure the Cards are Cut!"

Like most people, over the years I've been betrayed by some of the closest people to me. It took awhile to get over being angry or bitter, but I knew I had to because it was really wearing on my health and well-being.

Now I don't go too deep with people. I keep a wary eye and my big mouth shut, for the most part.

To be perfectly honest, I probably only totally trust my daughter and my son.

I generally go through life trusting most people in the beginning!

I'm more and more like this. I used to trust people more, but as you say people are unpredictable.

I trust nobody but hubby. He, of course, trusts everyone, and I'm constantly pointing out red flags to him or doing damage control. *sigh*
Guess we probably even each other out.

It's not a trouble- it's wisdom from years of experience. In G*d we trust, all others pay cash. When a man speaks of religion, check your wallet.

By nature, I am probably the most cynical person I know.

Behind the smile and jokes and silliness, lives a person who studys other humans very closely and trust is something that is earned.

The only one I trust is my Hevenly Father! All others I try and they find a way to prove me wrong.

I dont know. I guess I am not very trusting or just dont have the enrgy to find out if I can trust them. In todays world people are getting the 'All About ME Syndrome'. Most people are back stabbers. I find that most people I cant relate to. My life style is not the 'typical'. I dont have allot of friends sue to my lack of interest to find good friend. I dont have time for most peoples soap opera lives. My fmaily is where I choose to put most all of my energy.
I try to trust people but I find that most are out for their own agendas and not Gods and that bothers me. my DH on the other hands trusts too much and has had to pick up the pieces quite frequently.

I'm the inverse. I usually don't trust people until they give me a reason to. Not many do.
