Just got this from Live Cam.
i'd rather have that than ice! sides coloradins are nice people!
my friend lives right near there. She said they were forcasted for 14-16" of the pretty stuff! I wish we could just get a little tiny bit here...but that's asking tooooooo much for this area.
Yea I left your area to move to Colorado. They had 160 inches of that stuff when I got out there.
We woke up to it this morning.. snowin' and blowin' everywhere. Well... at least we may get our white Christmas! Hubby has the week off from work and we're just staying inside nice and cozy.. lots of hot chocolate, cookies, movies and watching the snow fall
Rocky, Didn't you come from Alabama with a banjo on your knee? You go to Colorado, and you'll need a banjo strapped to each shoe.
Funny when I was out there they had Sled Dog Races.Had to get Snowmobiles to work the snow down where they could run on it.
I had a friend asked if I wanted to go 4 Wheeling with him up in the Mountains? I told him no.Well couple days later showed him on the News Rescue party getting him out of there.Asked what he was going to do about his Jeep? He said he should be able to get to it about July.
I was 30 when I was out there. But some of them people made me feel old with some of the stuff they would do.Some of the Races they would think of like the 3 P race. And some of those people were pretty good drinkers.
Well, we are enjoying this blizzard! Everyone is safely tucked in at home, wood stove burning, power still on, and best of all, there will be no wildfire in this! Think I'll make soup and biscuits to go with the leftover cornbread and cobbler.
I did leave for school at 5:55 but only got about 10 miles and the cell phone rang. I finished a project for hubby and next is baking. Wood stove is blazing and we still have electric but I have a woodstove dinner planned b/c I doubt we'll really keep electric as we are on the plains...blizzard! LOVE IT!!!!!!!
We've got 6 inches thus far in the fron yeard.. this is in the city center. They say that it might amount to 2 feet now!
Hey Honey! Let's load up the sleds and go to Colorado for Christmas!!! Yee haa that snow looks great!
Aw man, all you Front Range'rs are getting all the snow.
We did have some all day yesterday, but I think it all blew east overnight.
We have a good couple of inches. Still coming down!
Pretty picture Wilderness family.
We're having ice today.
Those photos of the snow and the ice are beautiful....
Part of me misses that much seasonal change. But family is here...
Keep the photos coming, and stay warm and safe.
Angie, can I come and see you for a couple of months?
cowgirl, sure, I'll clean out a space and let you move in.
You have to like cat hair, and fabric and sewing machines....books....
Thanks! Sounds like I'd fit right in!
well we have a foot now.... for just starting to snow at 6am, this is pretty darn quick. Still coming down like mad, people have offically stopped using the sidewalks and are now walking in the streets. Just saw a few folks testing out their cross country skis.
I wish it were doing that here!!!
