One of the kits (17 days old) was out this morning with the doe. There is no way it could get back in the box. Should I put a little step there or keep returning them? Or does the mother?

If you have a small block of clean wood, I might put that in front of the box, but be aware, it will 'move' around a bit... Nest box is taller than 6" - 8" at the front??

Put the nest box on its side with some clean hay or staw. I normally do that once the kits start coming out of the box.

BUT.. when you put box on its side.. tie it down.. use some wire. Don't want squashed bunnies if all that hopping flips the box.
