I know, it looks like a serious problem...more than just a little glitch.

It would be devastating to lose all that info in the archives. Let's hope it is nothing major.

I sincerely doubt it is someone trying to "destroy" the site. If Diana says the site is paid up, then there must be a technical glitch going on with the company.

Sure hope we don't loose all that info yet again :(

I hope not! That happened on a Yahoo group that I was a member of about a year back.

I am on a crochet forum and they are down too. The moderator has posted a message. Seems like the server that forum is on had a major computer crash and their error message is that the bill wasn't paid, but it was.

The crochet forum is trying to migrate to another server that can hold up to the high volume it has without crashing.

Wonder what the odds are that both the crochet forum and the DG forum is on the same server?

I bet this is what is going on.

Yeah, it's been really lagging for me the last week or so --- trying to open a page and it taking forever to do it or just timing out.

    Hope it gets back soon!

Does everyone have really good Virus software on your computers? I think we have all figured out if that site goes down....we just flip over here to Homesteading Today. :)

i got an e-mail from diana. she got an e-mail from the server that said the site was suspended because it was missused what ever that means. sounds like it had endless hits per day.
remember the spammer we had a couple of times? maybe there is the reason.
even this board had problems with hackers a couple of times and a lot of info was lost.
so sad if we can't go there anymore

Hopefully DGplus will be back up soon, I'm glad we have this site to gather...but we have so much data stored up on DGplus that it is hard to imagine losing it. I do so many searches on there it's unreal. In fact, I have "barn notes" on that site that are not transfered to my own records. Things happen here on the farm, I post them there. later I try to recall when something happened and I can always check my posts and find the date when it occured!

At first I thought it was my computer that was messed up.. just glad it wasn't!! yes, it would be sad to loose all that valuable information! alas, poor Vicki will have to repeat herself yet again. :)
