Since I gave my parents my dog I am being invaded by "THE CRITTERS"...
First it was the deer eating the tops of the peppers (chased them out with the hoe),
then racoons after the bantams (at 3am tried to beat one to death with a broom! :flame: ),
after that a skunk on the backporch after the cat food (son tried to shoot it and missed thank God),
NOW a blasted ground hog in the yard with my rabbits.... he'll be in the garden next!

There are times I really miss my dog....
and I have too many projects to do before winter to get my critter fence up....
    UGH!

Try hanging aluminum pie tins around the garden so they bang and flash in the breeze. Did a good job keeping squirrels out of our garden this year.

We used old Christmas tinsel strands on our fruit trees this spring and the deer stayed away from them, but ate the undecorated triticale.

I'll trade your skunk for the rattlesnake in my tomatoes.
