My daffodils are up and almost open- problem is extreme cold coming. It seems awfully early for them this year, but what should I cover them with? Will it do any good? I hate to loose them , they usually are so pretty.
    Thanks.

Just about any thing will help, plastic jugs with bottom cut off, sheets or floating row covers.

Thanks very much, I didn't think straw would work. Too windy here. Cloches? Something like that.

We covered our bulbs with straw. We are having cold weather and a blanket of snow the other day. They aren't blooming yet but will let you know how they fair.
