I have 4 dogs 2 cats, and always have done their nails myself..

Tonight i cut my MINI doxi's nail too short , FIRST TIME EVER DOING THAT TO A DOG!!!
I got the bleeding stopped w/ flour... I feel really bad, and of course she dont like momma now!!!

I know how you feel...I always do all my pets nails and never cut the quick. Then I was "showing" Rocky how good Shep was with nail trimming and I cut his quick!!! I felt so bad I also made one of my goats bleed when I was trimming his hooves. UGH! Boy was he ticked off at me. Shep was his 'ol unconditional love self after I did it to him..he is such a sweety. My goat was so mad I took a picture of him!
