Argh! Someone help! :p

I once used a recipe for crockpot apple butter that I found on this site. I have a bushel of drops calling my name and I can't find the recipe!

Put 3 quarts of apples, sliced thin, in a crock pot and cook overnight on high. Next morning, add 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 3 cups sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cloves. Cook all day on low. Tastes like old-fashioned apple butter that is cooked in copper kettle.

You can use applesauce if you do not have time to prepare the apples. The crock pot makes it possible for apples to cook a long time without being stirred.

Call me crazy... but I just don't like crock butter as much as stove top butter. I tried it once and won't do it again.
And I don't put anything in my apples... just apples. I cook them until they are a dark, smooth brown. Folks do rave...
See, I told you you wopuld call me crazy.
