Just had the summer fill of L.P. and it is $1.52 per gallon this year. Last summer it was $1.43, if I remember correctly. What is your cost this year?

Just curious! BTW, we use L.P. for the furnace only.

Propane prices vary widely around the country. Here in central NY state, $2.79 gal. Hasn't been less than $2.00 for a long time.

EDIT: We use propane for water heater only. I think the price is lower if you heat with propane(ie, use more gallons). But still above $2.00 a gallon.

It is over 2.50 a gallon here in GA but we get it from an Alabama supplier so there may be some extra taxes added.

In NE GA, it's $1.69 per gal. if you buy at least 150 gal. and $1.91 if less than 150 gal. It usually goes up the closer we get towards winter though.
