Corn?

    this may have been answered before, but how do you know when to harvest your corn. I have sweet corn. Thanks :help:

    when the silks turn brown is one way. you can feel the ear and pretty much tell how full it is, but that takes knowing what ripe corn feels like. also, if you pull back the shuck a little to expose the ear, if you stick your fingernail in it, it should squirt juice out. if it doesn't squirt, it has been left too long. still edible tho. hope this helps.

    Excellent advice, that is exactly how my old neighbors (crop and dairy farmers) say to test for ripeness. Hope your corn is yummy! :baby04:
