    Silly question alert.

What corn varieties grow the tallest and thickest stalks? I dont care about the corn to eat I just want the stalks for a project I would like to do this upcoming summer and fall.

    Thanks for your trouble

Ken Scharabok had some corn seed he was giving away this past season and I remember it was very tall, not sure how thick the stalks were. I think it was called Hickory King. Rita in TN

look for some of the tropical corns they are daylight sensitive and since the daylight times never reach the tropic they dont mature and keep growing thats what the record breaking tallest stalks are . HUDSON see used to cary maza mordo it was huge www.JLHudsonSeeds.net . or try the silage seed corns there are some huge hybrids that make hicory cane look like golden bantem
