Can anyone give me the name(s) of corn that I can dry? And is there any heirloom varieties of corn that I can use for this purpose?

I'd like to add to my list of storage items some dried vegetables; I plan to dry beans, carrots and corn. Thanks all.

Are you looking to dry the corn for flour?

I like to dry it for soups, cornbread and tortillas. Not sure if I could use any kind of corn. I wondered about maize...hmmm?
