A co-worker asked me if I knew of "corn beans" tonight. It seems to be a variety that grows well with corn. Does anyone know aught about this?

Most beans grow good with corn, pole beans climb up corn. Beans fix nitrogen in there roots which helps the corn.

Well, I suggested pole beans, but he said there's a certain variety known as "corn bean." The mature pod is about 3 inches long. I'm sure his parents know the variety, but I don't have a clue.
