My hubby is putting copper pipes in my barn for water, should i be concerned? I have goats and cows.
Goats and cows both need copper -- goats need quite a lot of it. It's sheep that can't have copper, or at least only minute amounts. However, I don't think your copper pipe would be a problem even for sheep. Now, if he's using lead solder, that might be a problem.
no, we dont use lead here. My step sons suffer from lead exposure/poisoning. We know the dangers of lead. Thankfully my 12month old daughter was tested and is negative. Thank God!
But thank you, i was concerned that the copper in the water could be toxic. I try to be over careful so accidents dont happen.
