Our hand-me-down gas grill is almost dead. The 20 year old Weber grill is falling apart. I like to cook with charcoal and DH likes gas.

Do any of you have a combination gas/charcoal grill? If so, what brand and how much did it cost?

    Any advice is appreciated.

I bought a Char-Broil Quickset Charcoal/Gas from WalMart 2 years ago. I really like mine, though a recent search informed me that they are now discontinued :(

Weber, I believe, still makes one, and I think the Aussie is still available as well. Menards were selling the Aussies a few years ago...

Thanks, Auric! I looked at an Aussie at Menards. It looked like the charcoal would be too close to the food and might burn it.

After shopping around, I found a set of new legs, wheels, and ash catcher for my Weber charcoal grill. So, we won't have to get a new grill!
