Cocoa nibs are slightly roasted, ground cocoa beans with a great, nutty taste! Cocoa nibs from Camping Survival come in a BPA-free can with a 20-year shelf life. Use them in many ways:

* Grind them to a powder and use like regular unsweetened cocoa powder.
* Use ground or whole in baking and other cooking.
* Sprinkle them on yogurt, oatmeal, and ice cream for a healthy, crunchy treat.
* Add them to a peanut butter sandwhich.
* Grind coarsely to use as a coffee substitute or as an addition to coffee grounds.
* Add to salads and other savory dishes for a pleasing flavor and texture addition.
* Cocoa has high levels of antioxidant phenols, even more than red wine or tea.
* Cocoa protects against heart disease, helps lower “bad” cholesterol, and reduces the risk of atherosclerosis.
