Hello everyone- am new to the group and so glad I found you all-
I was wondering if anyone can supply a link or tips of their own for Xmas ideas for getting into the spirit- some examples are:
going to church for Xmas Eve service
making a gingerbread house
going skating
watching Xmas movies

Any others?
Thanks gang!:banana02:

I'll add these...

Picking out & decorating the tree together as a family

Sipping hot chocolate with marshmallows or hot apple cider

Buying poinsettia's to put out in my house

Mailing out & receiving Christmas cards

Driving around looking at everyones Christmas lights

I could go on and on. This is my favorite time of the year!

Last year I started a thing where I bought these little boxes- and bake up a storm of all kinds of Christmas goodies - and then I divide it all and pass out to family- they appreciate my gesture and it's something I'm doing again this year.
Still haven't set up the Christmas tree- but have the lights up outside, and have started on the Christmas cards- luckily we don't send out alot as it would get to be expensive. The x- husband used to have me sending to almost every member of the family and the cousins and aunts, and everyone else- gets to be costly.
Thanks to all who have posted ideas!
