I love the group Casting Crowns, a lot of their songs are powerful and meaningful for me.

Really like Jeremy Camp as well. His song "There will be a day" was running through my head yesterday.

Here are a few christian musicians that I like: Natalie Grant, Point of Grace, Matt Redman, Third Day, Big Daddy Weave, Brandon Heath, Christ Tomlin.... There are so many good christian musicians and songs.

I also like [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EweWSpNuWZA"]Carmen[/ame]... his songs some how seem radical but they are so cool!

My boys had me play[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaKO2X3oMhc&feature=endscreen&NR=1"] this one[/ame] over and over and over when they were younger.

I like good old fashioned gospel music; no group in particular; just good music, message, and harmonies.

I have to agree with Mush. In the 80s I liked Amy Grant. Nowadays so-called Christian music isn't very Christian. Most of it just contains feel-good Christian-y speak.

A fellow HTer posted something on fb about Fal$e Teacher$. I am not a fan of rap in any way but this is a good song. It calls out the many popular "preachers" of false doctrine. I see so many people fawning over these mega preachers who give a black eye to true Christianity. The prosperity (health and wealth) and Contemplative Prayer (aka mysticism) are not Biblical. They are, in fact, anti-Biblical.

Christianity is not easy. If everybody loves you you're doing something wrong. I dare say that it is not likely that godly man could become a televangelist.

Whether it comes from preachers, teachers, or musicians, one should carefully consider what somebody says. We are often too afraid of hurting somebody's feelings to call them out.

    Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Listen to what Shai Linne says before listening to his song.

Oh, I love so very many. I will try to restrain myself. LOL
    God bless you and yours
    Deb

I used to play this for my kids when they were little, learning Bible stories. But I still LOVE it.

One of my goals in this life, to reflect God's love to the point that there is no Debbie there at all. This song got me through the death of my husband and then father, two months later.

This one got me through the last couple of years, one of the hardest trials I have ever had to go through. I knew that the only way to survive bad things is to just give myself over to God.

Stubborn Love is the name of the group in this youtube link. I personally know three of them. The song titled "You Might Have Heard of Me" is climbing the charts now. The sole purpose of this group with their music is to reach unbelievers. Please request them on your local Christian station. I hope I'm not out of line to mention this.

I also love listening to anything by The Cathedrals. There's many others, but too many to mention now.

-I used to play bass guitar in a Praise & Worship band. We did a lot of Third Day covers and a little SonicFlood along with our original material. Here's a song that gets me every time I hear it. It's Third Day's "Thief." Enjoy!

Do the Statler Brothers count? They started as a gospel group named the Kingsmen, then changed their name when another Kingsmen group came out with Louie, Louie.
