Ever made any from scratch? That's my project of the day. According to my research..... sake, toasted sesame oil are components of this tasty dish. I don't nor am I ever likely to have such ingredients on hand. I think they will more likely fall into the realm of potstickers.

I do have ground chicken, cabbage and seasonings. The plan is to make quite a few and freeze them. Those evenings after work when cooking is the last thing you want to do, these could come in handy.

Well, it was quite a project. I rolled out sixty circles of round dumplings. One crucial step was missed. I forgot to dust each with flour before stacking them :Bawling: That meant that by the time I got to the stuffing part I only managed to pry apart 17 dough circles. The seventeen dumplings were delicious. :thumb: All was not lost though..I got really good at rolling itty-bitty circles. Lesson learned!
