Chickens are great for pigs, especially for young orphaned piglets. I've raised strong healthy piglets on chicken broth- no formula, milk, or grains. I follow my grandfather's chicken soup recipe. One of my wild sows, loves chicken. In fact, she'll kill it herself. I swear sometimes I hear her yell "Buffet!" right before the chicken squawks and feathers fly. Many a leftover chicken dish have gone into the pig feed. A little bit of chicken is fundamental for the health of an omnivore. Good of you to bring it up

Tango, I was thinking along the same line.
One time I could have swore my hogs put a little grain out just to catch a chicken for dinner! :haha:

    LOL cowgirlone,
I made pork jerky yesterday... Yummy! Can't do that with chicken :) Now I'm thinking of paella! Pork, chicken, rice, and your shrimp :)
