Anyone know where to get the chicken plucker rubber fingers???
Where is the best, cheapest place? Anyone order some lately? How have they worked? I am looking for some resources for them for a friend who is making his plucker and was wanting to hear some good and bad about the "Kinds" there were out there. thanks.

Looks like those are only for their tool... is it a standard sized finger?

The best price I found is at Stromberg's. They sell the Kent fingers, which are excellent. They are 62 cents apiece there. There is a place in NC that sells them a little cheaper, but you can get free shipping from Stromberg's.

    Good Luck!

Edited to add: The northern tool fingers are tiny....I don't think thats what you want.

Too cool. I was about to ask the same question. I have all my parts for my whizbang plucker except the fingers. McMurray is a little on the spendy side. And the whizbang book recommends the Kent fingers anyway I think.

    Hi everyone

You can try rubber plucker finger from this site.

They offer direct factory price, don't have to ship a lot and the quality is superb.

And if you get desperate, get a bunch of bungee cords, strip off the outer covering, and cut the inner rubber core as desired.

I wonder if any body could tell me how long the fingers last?

I'd be willing to sell you a few very cheaply to help you out. I buy them in big bulk, many thousands at a time.

EDIT: Holy cow this is an old post. BUT to answer the question about longevity of the fingers that was posted today, I've processed many hundreds of birds using a drill powered plucker, and fingers are still going strong. I also sell these pluckers, and I offer a lifetime guarantee on them. If you wear the fingers down on one, I'll replace 'em free.
