My last two batches of cherve has had absolutly no flavor. I followed the same recipe as I have for years. The first batch I wrote off as something went wrong, but two in a row. Any ideas what could cause this. When i say no taste I do not mean mild I mean NO taste.

Geez, I can't imagine the problem if you've made this cheese in the past without a flavor problem. Are you feeding your goats differently? That might have an effect.

What do you use as your culture or starter? That's what gives the cheesey taste.

I use starter culture direct set from hoegger's. The mesophilic for this cheese. No nothing is diferent. I made a third batch last night... no taste. It must be the culture is bad. I will try today with buttermilk and see if it tastes! Thanks.
