I didn't catch my problem for a while. Now I have a significant issue.

Luckily it was only chicken feed and eggs. The girls are fine.

I was hoping to see a pic of the weak corner here.
@wdcutrsdaughter

I was able to get some pictures today. There was more light when I got home.

These are old 6 X 10 dog kennel panels. This was an old gate panel. They were going through where the spade is. The pipe on the bottom had broken and they just pushed through. They were fat enough that I bet it was a tight squeeze.

Now what? Chicken wired isn't strong enough. Welded wire? Hot wire around the outside?
I have some pieces of galvanized metal (facia) from an elevator moderation some years back I will use. But I want to make sure I get the whole gang first. I'll monitor for a few days.

Facia is used to block a person from trying to squeeze out of a stopped elevator that is not at a floor. It should work well.

I'll post pictures after installation.

I did get the next flock members today.

Ratchet strap/anaconda wrap with nylon rope, pull it back together- use steel wire as a temporary hold, although a clamp is made for that situation/purpose. Put a sleeve over it (the broken part), four screws, and they will not be taking it apart w/o thumbs and a tool belt.
