I have an old hand cranked drill that I love the heck out of. It was my grandfathers and i use it quite a bit.The chuck on it is worn out. If anybody has an old electric drill kicking around that's burned up, I'd like to convert my drill to a keyed chuck. The hand drill has a 1/2" male threaded shaft. I have an old black and decker kicking around, but, it's threaded 1/4".

I'd check ebay, but, don't want to spend $20.00 with shipping for something that may not work.

and I think I have seen them at harbor freight, also check out your local hard ware store, for replacement chucks, I have bought them for $5. I probably have a few around I have used on the old post drill or similar, I know I use them on extensions, I have made,
