Check Your Furnace Air Filter

    Just a reminder to check your furnace air filter. Don't really know why, but it suddenly occurred to me to check mine. Filter was so clogged with dust (surprise, surprise) I'm surprised the furnace was able to draw at all.

    I don't have central heat, but that is certainly a good suggestion for those that do have it. I have to remind my Mom to check her's.

    I had the some thought as you did yesterday. Realized I had not changed the filter since well I'm not sure when. =) I wonder how much gas I wasted since it wasn't able to blow air well. =)

    i change ours every 2 months the more air it gets the better it runs and saves money

    We also change ours every month because my son has asthma.

    Had a friend that did not know that they had to change their filter, and it caught on fire. Sigh ~ ~ :rolleyes:
