Chair repair

    Not sure where to put this so here goes.
    Does anyone have any idea where I can get recliner repair parts?
    Specifically rivets for the mechanism.

    I'd use regular pop rivets. They are probably the same thing the use in the recliner.

    Have you tried contacting whoever made the chair?

    Yes. Do not repir but replace the mechanism thru the retail seller at $ plus labor.

    Pop rivets would not be strong nor big enough.

    call (or web sites) the chair manufacture and see what there warranty is,

    Lazy boys are life time on the recliner mechanism and frame, and i know of people who have had things replaced on them.

    other manufactures, I don't know about,

    the rivet is the rivet shouldered so part of it a pivot, then you will need some thing special, if it is just plain rivet farm machinery dealers should be able to help,
