    Hi all

I just want to introduce myself on here.

I'm a bit of a cattle person and live on a farm that raises feeder steers for beef. AND I'm still learning a lot about the industry and cattle, even though I've been around cattle since I could remember.

I'm a Canadian from Alberta (Canadian's accepted on here?), and have been born and raised on a farm, my family from way back have been farmers with experience in cattle (and a little in horses), on both my parent's side, and I plan on carrying through once I finish my studies in university, maybe start a ranch or farm of my own one day.

I'm still living on my parent's farm, helping out with farm work when I can when I'm home from the city, and are currently waiting to sell the steers sometime this fall (hopefully soon). I'm studying Animal Science at the U of Alberta (and love it), and just like to be on here to look forward to some friendly chat and maybe give out my two cents on a thing here and there, and learn something too.

Anyways, that's me, and look forward to meeting y'all!

    Karin

Excuse me for jumping in without an intro before now, folks. I'm farming in AK near Fairbanks. Cattle, sheep, little of everything. Maybe some of you chat with my brother, milkinpigs. Thought I'd join in.

    Welcome aboard!

I think I read that you have Highlands?

I'd love to hear more about how you deal with the extreme cold that you have to deal with.
