Cat/duck proof gardens

Hello everyone!
There are a few raised beds within my duck fencing that I stopped planting in a year ago because there is a cat that uses them as a litter box and my ducks can hop up and eat whatever is beginning to sprout. I was hoping some of you may have some suggestions as to what I could plant that the ducks may not like and that wont be affected by a little kitty poo. I would prefer something edible or useful, but would like to see anything growing in them at this point. I attempted some caging to keep the ducks out but don't have time to mess with that again this year because I have a 7 month old baby. Any thoughts?

Nothing short of fencing is going to be a good solution for the ducks.

You might try some type of mulch like pine bark that makes it hard for the cat to dig.
