    valsey,

    • Put your picture on your website like I do, or put it on a picture hosting website like . . . someone will recomend
    • select the yellow box with the mountain on it
    • write the address of the website and the name of the picture EXACTLY as required
    • for instance: http://yourwebsite.com/yourdirectery/yourpicturename.jpg

Click PREVIEW to make sure it works and YOU wrote EVERYTHING EXACTLY as it should be.

It must be EXACTLY as required, with each ":", "/", "name", ".jpg", etc everything correct.

    Good Luck,

    Alex

    EXAMPLE: Last June:

    Alex - thanks
I thought it would be a little more simple than that. What if a person doesn't HAVE a website...?

    It is simple.

You put your image on a "picture hosting website".

Will someone who uses one please recommend one?

    Alex

This is hosting site I use. Quick and no registration required. Just dont lose your link as no way to retrieve it since no registration/account. You would have to do it all over again.

I copied this from a reply I made on the Admin board see if it helps.

Here's the concept. Your picture comes off your computer and goes to an online host for pictures. I use http://villagephotos.com/ they give ample free space and 800mb data transfer. The pictures should be fairly small under 100kb in size, to keep uploading and transfer fast. Once uploaded in Village Photo the picture goes into an album there and under the thumbnail is a blue "link" that says "copy URL" click that and the photo's web address is put on your computer's clipboard. On a seperate window open up a reply or post new thread (won't work in a quick reply) here on Homesteading Today. Under the font size and color selections are some icons. Click on the one that looks like a small picture of mountains with a sun yellowish back ground. Reminds me of a postcard. [IMG]
A little window will open asking for the images address.
Paste it in the address location and click OK your done the needed code is added and your picture appears in the thread.

In the words of Alex Trebic, "That's it!" So let's see those images, the good ones, not all of them.

    Alex (not Trebic)

I use www.photobucket.com, and have yet to have a problem :) A free account allows you 1 GB of space (says about 10,000 pics or videos), which is what I have. Hope ya find what you're looking for!

How about these two? (Just keep in mind these pics were taken with a cheap little $20 camera as it's all that's in our budget for now...).
