We have a jerseyx calf, He's about 5 months give or take a bit, anyways i changed his food over to a sweet cow ( he was on calf starter) and now he has went from pattys to bricks..
I've asked a few people and none has really been able to give me and answer. Anyone know why? I'm about to put him back on the start this has been going on for about 2 weeks +/-
    thanks

Have you increased the amount of water he consumes as he ages/grows?

Change in diet can do that. I would recommend that you go back to the calf starter. Give him approx 3/4 of CS and 1/4 sweet cow for a couple of days and then gradually increase the amount of SC.

No i havn't changed his water, he's always had free access to it. He's on grass and hay, then he gets grain once a day.
Alright so going back to the feed he was on and do a slower change over.
    thank you
