  1. Hi i have a angus feeder calf steer and im taking him to the fair and showing um. He is a pro at leading and holding his head up to show his big muscles, but what im having problems with is getting him set up quick and easily. The fair is in the first of August so i need some advise quick. Thanx.

Have you tried "treats" (sweet feed) and rub his belly with stick

Are you using the fiberglass show stick that are common at the few shows I've attended? It's about 4 feet long with a point on the end and a hook on the side near the end. A little push on the foot with the point makes them move the foot. If you already are using one, I don't know what else will work.

  4. Yeah i am using 1 of those but he never will put his feet where i tell him. He is getting a little better at it but not as good as i want. Thank you everyone who is giving me advise.
