Ok, we are located near Ft. Smith so that is out. We have our butcher who sell on the hoof animals butt it is too far for you to travel I'm sure.
Call a
co-op near you, call the
local sale barns near you and also try the
small local feed store or
feed mill and they will probably know some one who sells live hogs. Also the local small store or the auto repair shops.
You are looking at the right time as many people sell at the end of the season.

I just sold mine for
$0.60 lb on the hoof. They weighed between
225 and
260 lbs each. this will give you some idea os to the price.
Now if all else fails the University of Arkansas is selling theirs for 0.65 per lb last time I heard. Try a cooperative agent near you and they should be able to help.
