I'm not sure if this belongs here or on the homesteading questions board but I'll just ask in both places.

Does anyone know of a producer, market or farm that sells processed buffalo meat within 100 miles of Paragould,AR?
That would include the Memphis TN & Little Rock areas if my map reading skills are correct. I don't know about areas west or north of Paragould.

A friend has dangerously high cholesterol and his doctor recommended he switch to buffalo if he wanted red meat.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

You might check out ostrich also. I remember it looking alot like beef but very low in fat......

Did you try doing a google search for buffalo meat? Also, check with your ag agency dude and see if he knows anyone in the area that might have buffalo. Kentucky has a great cost share program for starting stuff like buffalo and there might be a source there.....
